are each amended to read 2as follows: 3(1) Applicationfora loanoriginatorlicense underthischapter 4((shall))mustbe((inwriting))madetothenationwidemortgage 5licensingsystemandregistryandintheformprescribedbythe 6director.Theapplicationshallcontainatleastthefollowing 7information: 8(a) The name, address, date of birth, and social security number of 9the loan originator applicant, and any other names, dates of birth, or 10socialsecuritynumberspreviouslyusedbytheloanoriginator 11applicant, unless waived by the director; and 12(b)Suchotherinformationregardingtheloanoriginator 13applicant's background, experience,character, andgeneral fitness as 14the director may require by rule. 15(2)(a)Aspartoforinconnectionwithanapplicationforany 16license under this section,or periodically upon licenserenewal,the 17loan originator applicantshall furnish informationconcerning his or 18her identity, includingfingerprints for submissionto the Washington 19statepatrol,thefederalbureauofinvestigation,((and))the 20nationwide mortgage licensing system and registry, or any governmental 21agency or entity authorized to receive this information for a state and 22nationalcriminalhistorybackgroundcheck;personalhistory; 23experience; businessrecord;purposes; andotherpertinent facts,as 24the director may reasonably require.As part of or in connection with 25an application for a licenseunder this chapter,or periodically upon 26license renewal, the director is authorized to receive criminal history 27record information that includesnonconviction data asdefined in RCW 2810.97.030.Thedepartmentmayonlydisseminatenonconvictiondata 29obtained under this section to criminal justice agencies.This section 30does not apply to financial institutions regulated under chapters 31.12 31and 31.13 RCW and Titles 30, 32, and 33 RCW. 32(b)Inordertoreducethepointsofcontactwhichthefederal 33bureau of investigation may have to maintain, the director may use the 34nationwide mortgage licensing system and registry as a channeling agent 35forrequestinginformationfromanddistributinginformationtothe 36department of justice or any governmental agency. 37(c) In order to reduce the points of contact which the director may 38havetomaintain,thedirectormayusethenationwidemortgage p. 19SHB 1749.SL
